Santa Shot Recipe

Recipe

  • 1 part grenadine syrup
  • 1 part green creme de menthe
  • 1 part peppermint schnapps

Preparation
Pour grenadine to about 1/3 of your shot glass. Carefully layer the creme de menthe, then the peppermint schnapps.

Preparation

Cognac Sparkling Wine Cocktail Recipe




Ingredients



  • 4 drops Angostura bitters
  • 4 sugar cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups demi-sec sparkling wine (such as Gruet), chilled 
  • 1/2 cup cognac, chilled


Preparation

  • Place 1 drop of bitters onto each sugar cube; place 1 sugar cube into bottom of each of 4 Champagne flutes. Combine wine and cognac. Pour 1/2 cup wine mixture into each flute.

Fill a highball glass with ice. We used Heath Ceramics Small Tapered Glass for this one. Add the ingredients and stir until mixed. Place a fresh sprig of mint in the glass for garnish.

Ingredients
6 oz. Sweet Tea Vodka
1 whole lemon, juice of

1. In 8-10 oz small glass or tumbler, pour in the Sweet Tea Vodka, add the ice cubes, add the juice of
a whole lemon and garnish with mint leaves.

Cranberry & Rosemary White “Christmas” Sangria Recipe



Ingredients

1 Granny Smith Apple
1 Braeburn Apple
1 heaping Cup Fresh Cranberries
1 large Sprig Rosemary
1 Bottle Pinot Grigio
½ Cup White Grape Juice
¼ Cup Sugar (more, for garnish)
1 Can Club Soda

1. Sangria is a fairly simple recipe. Its’ pretty much chop, pour, stir, get drunk, and wake up next to someone you don’t know. The real work is in the wine selection and choosing which fruit to use. It is Christmas time so I was craving a cranberry sangria. In fact, I been craving cranberries all month. Did you see my Boozy Cranberries or the Cranberry Grilled Cheese I made?


2. You need to chop up the apples, I prefer them in small cubes so you can easily snack on them while enjoying your sangria, or as I like to call it…dinner. I mean, it has food in it so that counts, right?

3. I try to use good wine for my sangria. I am sure many winemakers would scoff at the suggestion but good wine makes good sangria. Crappy wine makes good sangria too, you just have to add a lot more too it. I prefer to let the wine shine through too. Oh, a little secret…the advantage to using good wine is that you can pour yourself a glass of it while assembling this recipe and it won’t suck.


4. In a large pitcher, combine all of the ingredients.


5. Mix it well, so that the sugar fully dissolves.


6. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill. During this time the sugar will fully dissolve and the rosemary, it will infuse your sangria. If you are wondering why I chose rosemary for this, well, it’s because I like my sangria’s sweet. But I really dislike the sweetness to linger. So by adding rosemary, it kind of cuts the sweetness down on the finish making it much more enjoyable.

7. While that chills, let’s make the garnish for this drink. I am not really into fancy garnish, personally. And this is far from one. But it is a Christmas drink and I figured if the rosemary could look like it was covered in snow, how effing Martha Stewart is that? To do this, simple place about 1/2 cup of granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. Lightly wet the rosemary and then give it a good shake to remove any excess water. Then roll the sprigs in the sugar until they are coated as you please. Gorgeous, right?


8. Once the pitcher has chilled for about an hour, it should be ready to serve. How amazing does this look? I hope you tripled the recipe and please invite me over if you did!

Strawberries & Cream Cocktail Recipe

Crisp, sweet, and full of berries & cream flavor.
Serves: 1

ingredients
  • 2 oz strawberry vodka
  • 1½ oz whipped vodka
  • 2 strawberries, thinly sliced (plus extra for garnish)
  • Soda water
directions
  1. In a shaker, add ice and both vodkas. Shake vigorously and set aside.
  2. Muddle the sliced strawberries in the bottom of a glass. Fill the glass with ice and top with the vodka mixture. Stir gently to incorporate the muddled strawberries throughout and top with soda water (it’s up to you on how much soda water to add.
  3. This is a pretty strong drink so you may want to take the edge off with more soda or if you like it strong, skip the soda all together). Garnish with a strawberry and sip leisurely on the back patio.

Instructions

Layer Sambuca over kahlua in narrow glass and pour a shot of baileys into one shot glass and blue curacao into another. Place straw into layered kahlua and sambuca and ignite sambuca. Then drink before straw melts and as last dregs of sambuca are being drunk pour in baileys and blue curaçao at the same time. These are to be drunk through the straws at the same time

How to make Caipirinha Cocktail at home 5 minutes


Ingridients


  • 2 fl. oz. Cachaça
  • Half a lime, quartered
  • 2 tsp. Sugar (preferably a "raw" or turbinado sugar) or .5 fl. oz. simple syrup


How to make it

Place lime wedges and sugar in a rocks glass. With a muddler press down and twist the limes to release the juice (and the oils in the peel). Add crushed ice, then cachaça and stir the drink. Fill up with ice.

Spiked Pear Cider cocktail recipe

2 oz. sparkling pear or apple cider
3 c. pear juice
½ vanilla bean, split
5 whole cloves
½ c. brandy
3 Tbsp. orange liqueur
1 Seckel Pear, cut crosswise into 6 thin rounds and seeded

½ gal. apple cider
1 qt. white grape juice
1 bottle, sparkling apple cider
8 oz. orange juice
8 tsp. Star Anises
3 large Golden Delicious Apples, sliced

Cranberry-Basil Spritzer cocktail recipe

1 c. water
1 c. sugar
½ c. basil leaves
2 c. unsweetened cranberry juice
¼ c. lime juice
1 l. chilled club soda
4 lime slices
1 c. cranberries
½ c. basil leaves

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring water and sugar to a boil. Stir to dissolve sugar. Add 1/2 cup basil leaves, remove pan from heat, and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain syrup and let cool for at least 1 hour. In a large pitcher, combine syrup, unsweetened cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice. Fill pitcher with chilled club soda, then add lime slices, fresh cranberries, and 1/2 cup basil leaves. To serve, pour spritzers over ice, top each with a splash more club soda, and garnish with basil.

3 oz Blue Ice Vodka
1½ oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

Directions:
Add vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur and White Cream De Cacao into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass.

2 oz Hendrick's gin
1 oz Lillet Rose

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir well. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with orange twist.

Moscow Mule cocktail recipe



MM Circa 2000s
1 1/2 oz vodka (such as New Amsterdam)
1 oz Pama liqueur
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
4 oz ginger beer
Mint sprig, for garnish
Combine and shake all ingredients except ginger beer. Strain into an iced Collins glass and top with ginger beer. Smack mint sprig in palm of hands to activate full aromas, then place in glass as garnish.
